Look 1 drapes (round 1)

This collection’s first look is what I’ve deemed to be the 2nd hardest to construct. As such, it’s my warm-up piece! You can see the first few drapes I started the semester with. Beginning with the lining, I draped a low back halter in muslin. This lining pattern would eventually get scrapped for a knit mesh lining, as I chose Plisse Knit to be my “muslin” of choice for the base dress. I then created my pattern from this plisse drape, which ensured I wouldn’t have to calculate negative ease for the stretch.
